- FOXLUX was founded in 1984, rooted in two indelible memories in the heart of its founder, Andy—the workbench of his grandfather and the summer backyards of North America. Andy’s grandfather was a German craftsman who dedicated half a century to engineering, adhering to the belief that "every screw must bear trust" throughout his life. In his workshop on the edge of the Black Forest, he carried forward the centuries-old apprenticeship spirit of German watchmaking, focusing on the ultimate refinement of every component. These mechanical parts, tested thousands of times, once accompanied explorers’ ships to Antarctica and could operate accurately even in extreme environments. This obsession with precision and commitment to durability, like a family crest, was deeply etched into Andy’s growth trajectory, becoming the underlying code for FOXLUX’s "reliability" attribute.
